Thank you for considering a referral to Mind-U, our specialist outpatient service for children and young people.
Mind-U provides expert mental health assessment and therapeutic support for individuals up to the age of 18 who are experiencing emotional, behavioural, or psychological challenges.
We offer a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to care, supporting difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, self-harm, OCD, neurodevelopmental conditions, and behavioural issues. Our multidisciplinary team includes clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, art and play therapists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists.
Mind-U is committed to working collaboratively with families, schools, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure children receive the right support at the right time. We accept referrals from professionals, including GPs, social workers, schools, and healthcare providers. In some cases, we also welcome self-referrals from parents and young people.
Please include detailed information on presenting concerns, developmental history, previous interventions, and any safeguarding concerns. Once received, all referrals are carefully triaged to determine the most appropriate pathway for support.
